Looking at their statements on the homepage, it seems very likely you'll get a key for Steam when/if it comes to Steam.
However, they've publically said its not going on Steam for now, they have enough money, and they dont feel the cut taken by Steam is worth the publicity.
Wish I wasn't legitimately poor af otherwise I'd buy it so I can stream building a massive Castle I already have the blueprint that I used to build said Castle in 7 days to die big sad well eventually I'll probably save up enough to get it
I love having a job and being able to afford micro transactions. Seriously. Capitalism sure is amazing! Not sarcasm btw if you need me to buy it for you I probably can.
IF you message me a 9,500 word essay on why you think this video game will benefit you. I will check for ai bitches so don't pull that. And it has to make sense! No stupid blibber blabber!
If I receive a good essay, I put it on god I will buy you the game.
Well, to me it's WAY easier to pay via Steam when compared to itch.io and even 99% of other platforms. I know most people *probably* bought Vintage Story with credit card or other online payment methods, but I don't have that privilege.
im a console player i wasn't f ing around when i said in YouTubers video i was planning on getting a pc in reality i stopped uploading Because vintage story don't tell my YouTube community that lizard or Andrew stopped uploading

Vintage Story won’t be on Steam for a long time (if ever).
Just curious, why does it matter to you if a game needs to be bought outside of Steam or not?
Well, to me it's WAY easier to pay via Steam when compared to itch.io and even 99% of other platforms. I know most people *probably* bought Vintage Story with credit card or other online payment methods, but I don't have that privilege.
How did you get it on steam?
I feel that. Don't have a credit card or that stuff either. At least Steam allows you to use your banking app directly.
Better yet, there's a website in my country that sells Steam gift cards, which can be paid through 7-11 i-bon with a given serial code.
That's how I got over 100 games in the last 10 years on Steam.
Apparently you can use IDEAL if it's supported in your country on their website.
I want to get it but is it worth the money
