accessibility, i am disabled without a good setup & i can only really play games on mobile and tablet, unfortunately. i really wish more devs considered this but i guess it's my fault until I can afford a good setup
Why not? With phones becoming more stronger, it wouldn't be a problem with compression. Mainly UI and how it would translate; I do not think anyone or even you would dislike another way to play a game you already enjoy? The only reason that this hasn't happened yet is that when it comes to updating one version of the game, you have to update another one, and when it comes to keeping track of both version, and updates - it's going to add more pressure.
If you have a phone powerful enough to run this game realistically, then that means you make enough money that if next time you go to buy a phone, you buy a cheap banger, you should be able to start saving up to make a small gaming PC. It's not that expensive, and is far more powerful. and Please, whatever you do, do not buy a laptop. Doesn't matter how well it's advertised, I promise it's not worth the money.
Bro, my phone now could run Vintage story. I've gotten it to work on my Steam deck and it's not that much of a downgrade going from my deck to my phone.
Can you figure it out and re-enable selling it on itch? I do not trust my email address to keep game key safe, I'd much rather had an itch io account that stores my purchase.
I've bought it here twice, year ago, and I want to buy it again as a gift.
I've added it as a non-Steam game and it runs REALLY well on Steam Deck. The view distance is phenomenal and I play at 40hz/40fps.
Edit: the only issue are the controls, I made the DPad be the arrow keys, left joystick WASD, I made AXBY = keyvoard Space X B Y. That's enough for most controls but a couple buttons are leftover, I might make it so that holding LB enables alt controls for extra buttons
It runs alright on steam deck, the flatpak is trivial to set up but I found that running the windows version in proton is more stable, albeit really annoying to install.
I thought this was a mine craft clone and put it off at first, but after looking at some youtube videos then trying it myself.. Its fantastic and highly recommend
Hi, I'm new to the game but in my experience it definitely DOES NOT end in about an hour. I'm five hours into my game world and I feel I've barely scratched the surface :)
This game has more than 100+ hours of content easily, and its a sandbox survival so there is a near infinite amount of things to do. I would definitely recommend buying it
Yea, the eldritch horror is definitely a bit of a change of pace to the rest of the game, but gives you a reason to be wary and to make weapons and armour. It means you have something to truly fear and to encourage progression. It’s also something you can disable either temporarily or permanently for each world if you want
"After purchase, please redeem your key on the itch.io "My Purchase" page - it is a link that lets you create a game account to log in to the game." is what the maker said.
I used to play this game on a laptop with an i5-5200U and 8 GB DDR3 RAM. I had linux on it so I actually could play at low to medium-ish settings at a pretty stable 30 FPS.

I know that i'll be ignored, but if you are reading this turno, please PLEASE TYRON!!!! MAKE A MOBILE VERSION(or just try) PLEASE;-;
why do you think every game needs to have a mobile version.
Because in that way, the game Will become more famous around the world, and because i don't have a good PC:(
making a game mobile from pc is not fun and really not worth it because no one will play it other than like a handful of people
I know.... But, it's a little chance, so i'm trying

That's entirely on Itch.io at this point I think.
Itch.io themselves haven't paid the dev in months. If you want to buy it for someone else, get it for them through Vintage Story's website.
With it being delisted how do I even get it smh
On their official site here
been seeing a lot of vidoes on vintage story, it looks fun, just hope theres a chance it comes over to steam someday.

I wonder if this game can run on steam deck. I also wonder if someone has tried to run it on steam deck.
It runs alright on steam deck, the flatpak is trivial to set up but I found that running the windows version in proton is more stable, albeit really annoying to install.
the game key link didn't work
I thought this was a mine craft clone and put it off at first, but after looking at some youtube videos then trying it myself.. Its fantastic and highly recommend
kingston mailston is best
do I need my Itch.io account credentials to login? because I tried that and it didn't work
Does anyone know if this game is coming to steam? If it does would i get a key for the game if i buy the itch version
Unlikely that it will. And if it does it will be a very long time.
Read the FAQ on the official site, they explain why

ik
does this game really end in about an hour? I'm planning on buying this. if so, I wish it were more in depth and had more hours to play.

thank you! one more question, does it really have eldritch horror elements? like a minecraft mod?
Yea, the eldritch horror is definitely a bit of a change of pace to the rest of the game, but gives you a reason to be wary and to make weapons and armour. It means you have something to truly fear and to encourage progression. It’s also something you can disable either temporarily or permanently for each world if you want
The horror elements can be toned down or turned off if you wish, the options are there when creating a new world.
thank you for the info. do I need my Itch.io credentials to login? because I tried it and it didn't work?

Does this game have DRM and if so what are it's restrictions?
Yes, you need an account to play, I think.
You need internet to log into your account, after which you can play offline for a while. I don't know exactly how long, I haven't checked it.
Quiero comprarlo
