I just bought the game, and when I click on the button to get the key it says "Your purchase comes with a download key!" and gives me an url, when I go to the site it makes me create an account but I have this error, i didn't create any account and it's not working for me.
If you bought the game on itch.io you only need to make one account by clicking on the game key, as it is a link. See top paragraph on how to obtain the key

the steam key thing was a mistake of min and itch.io has not yet responded in remedying the situation, you should be able to also redeem another key there.
Stop calling this a Minecraft clone or "just minecraft with shaders and mods" because that's as accurate as calling a Battlefield game "just doom but multiplayer" or calling an apple a clone of a slice of bread since they're both edible. It disheartening to me that people have this low of a comprehension of the fact that things can seem vaguely similar while being different.

Happy to say Im pleased to have gone with this than mc. Owning a copy of mc is a rite of passage but this is top tier

You're not wrong, my downvote on your original comment was just because I think it misses important differences. One of which is that (to my understanding) this game was made in part because of the limitations of modding minecraft. Your subsequent comments should not have downvotes imo.
Yeah, you could probably make this game in Minecraft with mods, but I don't think it would even come close to this performance.
For reference, in my experience I get about 60 fps avg with regular drops at 15 chunk render distance on vanilla MC, and that drops to 30 or less avg with mods of almost any kind.
This game is easily consistently at max fps for me (which has been set to 75) with max render distance (1536 blocks, which I believe is 48 chunks if my information is correct).
edit: To be clear, I'm not saying the game is just better because of the performance, it's just a significant personal factor for me. You could check reviews for other differences but with the dev being so intent on refunding the game for anyone who doesn't like it I don't see why not to just try it out if it is interesting to someone.
The maker did it themselves. They use a very close copy of the minecraft layout. To say it is only inspired by "Lovecraftian Horror" Is just disingenuous at best.

It has a lot of features base game for sure, but a lot of those features literally are minecraft with mods. A lot of other features and gameplay aspects are not. And that is good. This game definitely has its own seperate soul. But again, it's disingenuous to act like this isn't a clone of minecraft at its core. because it kinda is a clone at its heart. And that is Fine. because that is LITERALLY why this game was made. it's a minecraftlike, and the makers should own it.

please add the ability to make saltwater source blocks with a bucket!!!! right now it only works with fresh water. if you dump a bucket of seawater then use the bucket on it again it just takes the water but when you do it with fresh water it only fill the bucket while leaving the hole filled.

If we're gonna be real, there are games with even more egregious prices for what you get.
This game is, at its root anyway, spawned from Minecraft, but you don't see nearly as many people complaining about Minecraft's price tag.
Even if I go back to Minecraft more often, in my opinion this game offers way more than Minecraft, and we're only paying for the base game without any of the mods.
If you're in a country where the price is abysmal, I'm sorry to say but try and spend your money more sparingly if the situation is that bad.

Rodrigo, construir uma versão mobile de um jogo para PC não é algo fácil. É muito difícil pros desenvolvedores e eles teriam que congelar o projeto por muito tempo. E mesmo depois disso, pode ser que a versão de celular não rode no celular que você tem. É um mercado complicado.

Hey, I need a steam key to create an account. But whenever I go to get a steam key it says "there are no steam keys available at this time."
You redeem the key on Vintage Story's website when making an account. It's not a steam key.

not sure what you mean by that but you can switch to another OS as often as you like, there is no install limit

Turns out Itch.io ran out of keys, the dev was very responsive on the discord and said they're looking into it and should be resolved soon.

The game runs so inconceivably smoothly. I have never had this kind of performance in Minecraft, vanilla or modded.
